Young People’s Producer
We are seeking a Young People’s Producer to join our small but mighty team.
Revoluton’s Young People’s Producer plays a vital role in developing and managing a range of projects that connect local young people with high-quality artists and creative projects, whether they wish to pursue a creative career or engage socially for fun. The postholder will promote progression opportunities through our programmes (and beyond), to facilitate young people’s wider engagement with the arts, as participants, audience or as makers of new artworks rooted in socially engaged practice. They will work to build long-lasting relationships with local organisations, venues, creative practitioners and residents to design and deliver high-quality and inclusive activities.
We are looking for an excellent communicator – a producer with a passion for youth-led creativity. The ideal candidate will also be a skilled project manager, with excellent administrative skills and a demonstrable commitment to community engagement.
Revoluton Arts was established as an Arts Council England-funded Creative People and Places (CPP) project in 2015 and became an independent organisation in 2020. Over the last few years, we’ve produced bold new work putting Luton on the map in increasingly creative ways. Now is an exciting time to join the team as we prepare to deliver many new and ambitious projects.
Equity, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do, from programming work with, by and for Lutonians, through to how we budget and build partnerships. We are committed to our organisation reflecting and celebrating Luton’s incredible diversity across ethnicity, age, gender, disability and socio-economic background. We therefore especially welcome applications from people with lived experience of the communities that we work with.
