We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Assistants to support our upcoming summer projects in August and September 2026. Event Assistants will play a key role in providing information to members of the public, supporting the smooth running of events and ensuring feedback is gained from audiences.

The fee for each event is £20 per hour.

Luton Henge Festival – Saturday 1 & Sunday 2 August, Marsh House

The two-day festival builds on the success of our first Luton Henge Festival last year. It promises to be bigger, louder and bolder. The festival attracts local families, residents and artists to experience live music, theatre, dance, practical workshops and more. Activities will run from 12:00 – 21:00.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with event set-up and pack-down

• Providing information to event attendees and members of the public

• Supporting accessibility needs

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of event attendees

• Ushering/stewarding audiences

• Counting audience numbers

• Actively seeking feedback from event attendees

The Rite of Spring by Seeta Patel Dance – Sunday 6 September, St George’s Square

Revoluton Arts is presenting performances of Rite of Spring by Seeta Patel Dance on Sunday 6 September at St George’s Square. The family-friendly performances will run twice across the day, along with a family workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the smooth running of a family-friendly public workshop

• Distributing flyers to members of the public

• Providing information to members of the public

• Supporting accessibility needs

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of audiences

• Seeking feedback from audiences

How to Apply

To apply, you must:

• Be aged 18+

• Have excellent customer service skills and willingness to communicate with the public

• Have a proactive and friendly attitude

• Be available for an open interview on Tuesday 14 July, 16:30-18:30

• Be available for shifts on 1 August, 2 August and 6 September.
