Info

Calling filmmakers, digital artists, designers, musicians, DJs, rap artists, dancers, choreographers, writers, poets, visual artists, actors, producers, creative entrepreneurs, podcasters and more…

We’ve got a wide range of projects for young creatives aged 16-30, from Open Mic to Mic Drop Masterclasses and Micro Commissions. We’ve even got a Platform showcasing the latest Lutonian creative work.

Are you a talented singer, comedian, rapper, spoken word artist, actor or filmmaker? Open Mic Night is the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your skills. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re an established performer or you’ve never performed in front of an audience before.

Or if you’d like to develop your craft, join us for our Monthly Mic Drop Masterclasses where we invite a different guest artist to ‘drop’ their knowledge and expertise each month. Each session aims to inspire you with cutting edge tips and techniques from the creative industry, support you to practise applying them to your craft, and connect you with a range of local creatives for future collaborations.

You can also meet other creatives at our Mic Check events, where you can check out the practice of other artists from Luton and beyond and be inspired by a range of art forms for free.

If you’ve got an idea for a project, apply for Young Revolutonaries to take the next step towards your creative career. This programme offers micro-commissions and pays you to attend skills development and 1:1 sessions led by expert facilitators.

Check it all out and get involved.
