Creative Assemblies

Creative Assemblies are a model of democratised decision-making about culture and creativity in Luton.

Ongoing

Is this for me?

Creative Assemblies are for anyone that lives, earns or learns in Luton, typically aged 16 and up. People from our Residency locations in Bury Park, Farley Hill, and Marsh Farm are welcome to attend a Creative Assembly in their local area. Town-wide events run in two ways: sometimes for invited groups, and sometimes in public spaces, like schools, conferences or shopping centres.

Info

We run Creative Assemblies across the breadth of our projects. A Creative Assembly is a gathering of people, coming together in conversation – often within a facilitated creative activity or event – to share ideas, needs, desires, and ambitions. Running these sessions helps us to grow democratised decision-making and shape creative projects and programmes that resonate with Lutonians.

Creative Assemblies typically happen within our Residency programme in Bury Park, Farley Hill, and Marsh Farm. In some cases they are led by Revoluton Associates. And sometimes we run Luton-wide gatherings under the title Have Your Say the (Revo)luton Way, to encourage big picture thinking.
