Young Revolutonaries Call Out
Calling young creatives in Luton!
Are you a Luton-based creative aged 16-30? Have you got an idea for a creative project that could benefit your local community?
The Young Revolutonaries programme is for you.
We are excited to announce that we are inviting applications for five new micro-commissions for young Luton-based artists, creatives and/or producers.
Supported by the Revoluton Arts Young People’s Producer, each Young Revolutonary will hone their craft and co-create an original artistic work with the local community and/or community-based partners.
Commissioned artists will get paid to attend 1-to-1 mentoring sessions, benefit from skill-building workshops with expert facilitators and act as an ambassador within Revoluton Arts’ programme of work. Each Young Revolutonary will receive a £300 seed commission to produce their creative project, informed by meaningful community engagement.
The programme will culminate in a public showcase for each Young Revolutonary to present their original work, reaching an audience of at least 80 local people.
Projects must take place in Bury Park, Farley Hill, Marsh Farm or Leagrave, and must aim to excite and engage local audiences.
This opportunity is open only to Luton-based creatives aged 16-30.
