Interested in getting a ‘platform’ to share your work?

Following the success of our previous PLATFORM events, we’re excited to return this July with a special edition celebrating South Asian Heritage Month; spotlighting the voices, stories and creativity of South Asian artists and communities across Luton.

PLATFORM is more than just a performance opportunity; it’s a welcoming and lively space for local Lutonian creatives to present works-in-progress and test out ideas with a live audience.

This callout is open to artists from Luton who have works-in-progress to present to a supportive live audience and receive constructive feedback. The scratch night is designed to support artists in developing their creative work

To mark the occasion, we particularly encourage applications from South Asian artists who live, work and/or study in Luton.

Performances and showcases must be between 5 – 15 minutes max and must be suitable for audiences aged 16+.

When you apply, you will be invited to share information about your creative practice and the work you wish to present, including images, recordings and website links. You can also share any basic technical requirements.

Application Deadline: Thursday, 4 June 2026.

Applicants will be shortlisted soon after for the evening showcase.
