Revoluton Arts CIC is seeking a dynamic and collaborative freelance Interim Producer to join the producing team at Revoluton Arts on a fixed-term basis, with a focus on young people and digital skills development.
The Interim Producer will work to deliver two key projects between January and May 2023:
Club Revoluton was written with the young people of Luton in collaboration with award winning poet and writer James McDermott. The play is a site-specific performance staged in a ‘night club’ and follows the lives of two young people as we track their lives through school, university and beyond set to a soundtrack from the top hits of now and then. The Interim Producer will work with 1st Degree East and Marsh Farm Outreach to ensure the smooth running of this co-production and work with the Community Producer on engaging the local community throughout the production.
Film training programme
Funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies, our second cohort of young film trainees will work towards filming Club Revoluton in April. The Interim Producer will be responsible for managing a series of digital workshops, recruiting participants to film the event and edit in our new digital suite at Marsh House.
We are looking for someone with experience in producing creative community projects, including supporting the delivery of co-created artistic works. They will also have experience of delivering live performance and/or digital development and be passionate about the positive impact of the arts on communities, especially young people.
