Call Out for Commissions - Collaborators and Supporting Acts

We are delighted to announce we have several opportunities for Luton-based emerging artists (aged 18-30).

We are inviting applications from people who either live and/or work in Luton to apply for the following artist opportunities:

  • Workshop leaders for lantern-making activity (suited to visual artists and/or makers)
  • Dancers (suited to existing dance groups)
  • Vocal artists (suited to singers, spoken word artists, and MCs)
  • Performance host (suited to actors, event hosts, DJs or MCs)

All artists must be available for Revoluton Arts’ Dundu: Giants of Light ‘Lighting up Luton’, on the following dates:

  • Co-creation workshops, 19 October 2022
  • Performance, 20 October 2022

Workshop leaders must also be available for an additional date:

  • Mandatory training session, 1st October

Deadline to apply: 26th September 2022, 12pm (midday).

Callout for Production Assistant

We are inviting applications from people (aged 18-30) who either live and/or work in Luton to apply for the role of Production Assistant for DUNDU: Giants of Light ‘Lighting up Luton’, a new large scale outdoor event this October.

Reporting to the Senior Producer, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day coordination of the Dundu project within Revoluton Arts. The role will also be responsible for the coordination of a high-quality suite of workshops and partnership activities. You will be required to liaise with a broad range of partners, institutions and organisations in the voluntary and arts sectors.

The postholder will need to be able to capture, process, and report a wide range of information, and work systematically with the Senior Producer to support a programme of activity that will help deliver the requirements of our funder.

  • Performance, 20 October 2022
