Riots to Revoluton
Presented by Revoluton Arts in the
Marsh Farm Estate, Luton. 1995. Where youth unemployment seeped like a poisonous chemical through its foundations. Where petrol got poured on a spark and reason turned to riot.
Using real life testimonies of those who experienced it, Revoluton Arts offers an alternative prospective behind Luton’s notorious riots. Revealing a story of massive but passive defiance and a demonstration of what power music and art can have in uniting people and changing the course of events.
The performance will be followed by a post-show discussion.
