Is this for me?

The Makers Series sound workshops are designed for young people aged 16-30 from Luton. No experience required.

Info

Step into the world of sound with XANA in this hands-on workshop, where you’ll compose and design audio for a scene from a play. Each group will explore a different section, bringing their ideas to life through sound.

You’ll get to dive into dramaturgy in sound and discover how to choose the perfect audio to match a story. You’ll also learn the software and techniques used to record music for theatre. This session will blend theory and practice, giving you real experience collaborating on a creative project.

Part of the Makers Series—a monthly hub for 16–30-year-olds in Luton—this workshop is open to all levels. The Makers Series has been programmed in such a way that you can be a part of it at any time and at any session without feeling left behind.

Join us, create something original and have your work featured at PLATFORM in March 2026.
