Sound in Motion: Intermediate Sound Design
Wednesday 18 February 2026
17:30 - 19:30
Marsh House
Is this for me?
The Makers Series sound workshops are designed for young people aged 16-30 from Luton. No experience required.
Info
This intermediate sound design workshop is for creatives ready to level up their skills and push their practice further.
Working with a scene from a play, participants will compose and design sound at a deeper, more intentional level, exploring how audio choices shape rhythm, emotion and meaning.
On Wednesday 18 February, you’ll get a chance to dive into dramaturgy in sound, sharpening how you select, manipulate and structure audio to support narrative and performance.
Blending focused discussion with hands-on making, this workshop taking place at Marsh House Community Centre by 17:30 is about moving from instinct to intention, developing the confidence, technique and creative language needed to take your sound design to the next stage.
