The Makers Series workshops are designed for young people aged 16-30 from Luton.
Info
The Makers Series is a brand-new monthly workshop series for young people aged 16-30 in Luton. From calligraphy, to film, to sound, to clay, the series will offer participants the opportunity to learn new practical skills and create something original.
The maiden edition of The Makers Series will kick off on 25 June, exploring a step-by-step painting session. Join Nadia Hussain and learn to create a beautiful piece of artwork from start to finish. Nadia will also share practical tips on brushwork, colour mixing, layering and more to help you build confidence and creativity on the canvas.
The programme will conclude in March 2026 at Marsh House with a young people’s takeover of PLATFORM, our scratch night, showcasing the work of young local creatives.
The Makers Series has been programmed in such a way that you can be a part of it at any time and at any session without feeling left behind. We’d love for you to join us for every monthly session, but if you’re not able to, you don’t have to.
So, here’s to calling all filmmakers, digital artists, designers, musicians, DJs, rap artists, dancers, choreographers, writers, poets, visual artists, actors, producers, creative entrepreneurs, podcasters and more…
If you’re aged 16-30 and live, work or study in Luton, join us. Let’s make something special, right here in Luton.
