Echoes of the Diaspora - University of Bedfordshire
Muslim women are often spoken about and rarely spoken to.
Echoes of the Diaspora celebrates stories of Luton's Muslim women through live performance including poetry, monologue and film.
Curated and directed by Imrana Mahmood, this performance challenges the status-quo and aims to enrich the collective understanding of the UK’s diverse communities, as well as addressing the need for more nuanced and diverse representation within the arts.
