Revoluton Arts are looking to commission four Luton based artists to create individual pieces of work of 8-10 minutes, in any media or art form, to be staged at a public event.
The commissioned work will be part of a Long Table event, which features live performances, music and video, mixed with conversation and debate. This unique platform aims to give artists and communities a voice ‘Post Brexit' on the creative and cultural offer in Luton.
The 4 selected artists/creatives will respond to the theme ‘Post Brexit’ and receive a fee of £400 (includes all expenses) alongside 3 months of tailored mentoring and professional development support to develop 10 minute short pieces of work, with a view to future development.
The Long Table event will take place in late September 2016 (venue & date TBC). If you are interested in applying and for further information please contact our Community Activist, Shabnam Shabazi on 07399 356207 or email shabnam@revolutonarts.com no later than 15 August 2016.
