Join us for Funding Advice with Arts Council England, a practical workshop and networking event designed to support local artists and organisations in navigating the world of getting your work created.
In this session we’ll be focusing on understanding Arts Council England funding and breaking the process down. We’ll explore the different funding streams currently available, what each fund is designed for and how to identify which fund is the best fit for your work.
We’ll be joined by Art Council England’s Marcus Noble, 1DegreeEast’s Matthew Jones and other guests. Expect practical guidance, real examples and a supportive space to ask questions and build confidence. Whether you’re applying for the first time or looking to strengthen your next bid, this session will equip you with the tools and insight to move forward.
Together, we’ll look at how to assess whether your project is ready for funding and how to shape and refine your idea into a clear, compelling proposal. We’ll demystify the application process step by step; from developing your idea and starting your application, through to submission and receiving a decision.
1DegreeEast will be offering a limited number of 1:1 sessions for any local artists who wish to seek advice.
