Info

Ever been well and truly lost in the middle of a forest with no idea how to get home?

Sam is, and he can’t shake the feeling he’s being followed.

Like a choose-your-own adventure book brought to life, with enchanting movement, music and puppetry, Lose the Path, Find Your Way is a new participatory show for children and their families. It touches on themes about home, making your own choices and what it means to be a friend.

Lose the Path, Find Your Way will take place at Hockwell Ring Community Centre on Friday 10 October from 16:30.

For those who would like to arrive slightly earlier, a children’s arts & crafts workshop will run from 16:00. Light refreshments will also be provided.

Please, note that the performance includes movement and music. All children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.

Sign up for free here.

My kids are outside the age range – can they come watch?

Yes, although the target audience is primary school-aged children, anyone who is interested can attend as the show is intriguing for all. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Do we have to take part in the story?

The theatre piece is interactive, so the actors will be talking to members of the audience. Anyone who wants to take part can, and if you don’t want to, you can just watch.

Is the show only happening once?

Yes. The show is currently touring schools and showing once at Hockwell Ring Community Centre.

Will there be food?

Light refreshments will be provided.
