Info

Have a say in shaping future creative activities in Bury Park.

This Creative Assembly will be led by Producer, Imrana Mahmood, the convener of Creative Roots; a project that interrogated themes of identity, intergenerational connection and language in Bury Park and Luton, earlier in the year.

The project invited participants to take part in a series of workshops. We’re bringing together everyone who’s been part of this journey — artists, makers, and neighbours — to co-create the next chapter of creativity in Bury Park.

Hear about Creative Rootslisten to Imrana Mahmood discuss how she produced Creative Roots, what she learnt from the project, and what she thinks might be next for Bury Park.

See previous work in the spotlight – we’re hosting an exhibition featuring pieces made in the recent Creative Roots workshops.

Bring your friends and family – let them celebrate creativity and be inspired.

Meet other creatives – everyone is welcome. Whether you’ve painted a canvas, performed a poem, or just interested in creativity in Bury Park – your voice matters.

Help shape what’s next – what kind of art, events, and creative projects do you want to see in Bury Park? This assembly is where those ideas come to life.
